Pickleball is a new and exciting game described by many as one of the fastest growing sports in the world and Kingscliff Tennis Club is proud to offer two dedicated Pickleball Courts for everyone to enjoy this new fun activity.

 

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis and tennis. The game is generally played by four players in doubles format using a solid Bat/Paddle to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net. Points are scored off the serve only and the first team to reach 11 points with a two point advantage is the winner.

Introduction to Pickleball: we encourage all new players to undertake our coaching sessions before joining into the club's Social Pickleball events. The coaching sessions will give you an insight into the rules of the game, where to stand, the serve and the scoring. The sessions are from 9 am - 1030 am on Mondays. (except Public Holidays) and the cost is $15.00 + $5.00 to hire a Paddle if required.
